Terms and Conditions for Weekend Vehicle Rental Voucher

These Terms and Conditions outline the "Cooke Howlison Vehicle for the Weekend" or other similar prizes, subsequently referred to herein as 'Voucher'. By participating in the redemption of the voucher, the participant agrees to these terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before redeeming the prize. Eligibility

  • The redemption of the voucher is only available to confirmed winner/s recipients of the prize. Cooke Howlison reserves the right to contact partnering organisations to confirm the validity of this entry.
  • Vouchers may only be redeemed by an individual over the age of 25 with a full New Zealand driver's licence.

Voucher Redemption

  • Voucher may only be redeemed once.
  • Vehicle availability/options are subject to the availability of demonstrator vehicles and at the discretion of Cooke Howlison staff/management.
  • Voucher must be redeemed in person, and all relevant paperwork, including but not limited to the Cooke Howlison Loan Vehicle Agreement, must be signed before the vehicle is collected.

Voucher Details:

  • The voucher entitles the winner to a vehicle for the weekend from the participating franchisee, as outlined on the voucher, subject to the aforementioned availability.
  • The voucher is valid for use on a weekend, Saturday collection - Monday morning return, unless otherwise agreed by Cooke Howlison management.
  • Weekends must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance, and the offer excludes long weekends and public holidays.
  • Only one vehicle may be redeemed per voucher.
  • If a specific model is outlined in the voucher, that is the model that will be provided unless otherwise unavailable/at the discretion of Cooke Howlison management.

Prize Conditions:

  • The voucher is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
  • Cooke Howlison reserves the right to substitute the Voucher with another of equal or greater value at any time or to terminate the Voucher at any time without notice.
  • Any additional costs incurred during the vehicle experience, such as fuel, insurance, speeding fines, tolls, or other associated costs, are the responsibility of the winner.
  • The vehicle may only be driven by the redeemer of the prize unless otherwise agreed at the time of collection.
  • Fair use policy of the vehicle applies, and the vehicle may not be used for purposes outside of regular driving, including but not limited to - off-road driving, towing, transporting or providing commercial goods and services, excessive travel distances or travel beyond the Otago region unless otherwise agreed between the recipient and Cooke Howlison management.
  • The voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of issue/the date of the event (fundraiser, auction, giveaway, etc.).

General Terms:

  • Cooke Howlison reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Terms and Conditions or acts in a manner that is fraudulent, unethical, brings Cooke Howlison into disrepute, or is otherwise in breach of the law.
  • Cooke Howlison reserves the right to ban any individual who redeems a voucher and does not comply with these terms or has otherwise given just cause to do so.

Privacy Policy:

  • Any personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the prize and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

Governing Law:

These terms and conditions are governed by New Zealand law.

By participating in the redemption of this voucher, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Our social media pages including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn may offer prizes, please see below for Terms and Conditions: 

  1. Eligibility: This giveaway is open to participants aged 18 and over. Employees of Cooke Howlison and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. 

  2. Entry: To enter the giveaway, follow the instructions provided in the giveaway post. Entries must be submitted by the deadline, if outlined. Only one entry per person is allowed unless otherwise stated.

  3. Prize: The prize for this giveaway is outlined in the specific giveaway. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items.

  4. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified via comment or direct message within 7 days of the giveaway closing, unless otherwise specified.

  5. Claiming the Prize: The winner must respond within 7 days of the notification to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within this timeframe, another winner will be selected.

  6. Publicity: By entering this giveaway, you agree to allow Cooke Howlison to use your name and/or social media handle for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

  7. Disqualification: Cooke Howlison reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these terms and conditions or who engages in fraudulent activity.

  8. Changes to Terms: Cooke Howlison reserves the right to modify or cancel the giveaway at any time without prior notice.

  9. Governing Law: This giveaway is governed by New Zealand law.

Terms and Conditions: MG Test Drive Referral Promotion

  1. Promotion Overview: If you refer a friend, family member, or other person known to you to test drive an MG vehicle, and they mention your name at the time of their test drive appointment or during the appointment booking process, you will be automatically entered into a draw to win a magazine (12-month) subscription of your choice of Kiwi Gardener, Rugby News or Classic Driver. 

  2. Eligibility:

    • Participants must be New Zealand residents
    • Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
    • Employees of Cooke Howlison, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
       

  3. How to Enter:

    • Refer individuals to test drive an MG vehicle at Cooke Howlison MG
    • Your refferals must mention your full name at the time of scheduling their test drive appointment or at any point during the test drive appointment. 
    • Each verified referral that mentions your name will count as one entry into the draw.
    • The referral must complete a test drive in order for the entry to be valid. 
       

  4. Draw Period: The promotion begins on 3 July 2024 and ends on 31 August 2024. Entries received outside of this period will not be eligible for the draw.
     

  5. Prize Details:

    • One winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the promotion period.
    • The winner will receive an annual subscription to one of the following magazines of their choice: Kiwi Gardener, Rugby News, or Classic Driver.
    • The winner will be contacted via the contact information provided during the referral process.
       

  6. Winner Selection:

    • The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by 31 August 2024.
    • The drawing will be conducted by Cooke Howlison or its designated representatives, whose decisions are final and binding.
       

  7. Notification and Prize Claim:

    • The winner will be notified via email or phone within 10 days of the draw date.
    • To claim the prize, the winner must respond to the notification within 7 days and provide necessary details for prize delivery.
       

  8. General Conditions:

    • By participating in this promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
    • Cooke Howlison reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or is deemed inappropriate.
    • Cooke Howlison reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion at any time without notice.
    • The prize is non-transferrable, redeemable for cash or otherwise able to be exchanged for other goods and services
    • The magazine delivery will be conducted by Star Media and Cooke Howlison has no responsibility for the delivery of the magazine. Any lost or undelivered copies will need to be raised directly with the supplier.
    • The number of editions during the 12-month subscription is defined by Starr Media and may be modified by them at any stage.
       

  9. Privacy:

    • Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the promotion and contacting the winner.
    • By participating in the promotion, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information as described herein.
